Mélodie Breton, a grade 6 student in Ms. Marie-Ève’s class, acted as a journalist in January and interviewed Ms. Andrée-Anne, one of our violin teachers to learn more about our school’s history. She had prepared many interesting questions for Ms. Andrée-Anne.
Sacré-Coeur school celebrated, in 2017, 45 years of existence and Ms. Andrée-Anne was a student at this school when the music program first started, in 1972.
Following the interview, Mélodie wrote this text that tells us about their conversation.
The music program was transferred to our school in 1972 from Mont-Notre-Dame.
In 1972, we only practiced the violin; today, we have the choice between cello or violin and we also learn the piano.
The Service de Garde activities have grown quickly. The activities are diversified and really interesting for the kids.
The playground has had many updates, like the different field marks. The bus zone has many hopscotch levels, enjoyed by all grades.
Our beautiful school has evolved a lot since 1972.
